Some partnerships are born from a shared vision. That is the story behind the partnership between Rhea and the Portofino International Opera Competition (CLIP): two organizations brought together by a shared belief in talent, culture, and the value of people.

For Rhea, this vision is deeply rooted in the legacy of Carlo Majer, whose unique ability to combine artistic sensitivity with entrepreneurial spirit left an enduring mark on the company and continues to inspire its journey.

Inspired by these values, the Carlo Majer Award was established in 2025 and has been renewed this year. Presented to the winner of the Competition, the award was created to carry that vision forward by turning it into a tangible opportunity for the next generation of opera singers.

Rhea’s hallmark attention to detail is also reflected in the hospitality experience accompanying the Competition. During the final rounds, members of the jury will enjoy coffee prepared with the rhTT1, specially customized for the occasion with artwork dedicated to Carlo Majer.
